Teddy Swims Announces World Tour to Connect with Fans Across the Globe

July 8, 2025 - by Jande David - Leave a Comment

Singer-songwriter Teddy Swims, whose powerful vocals and emotional performances have garnered millions of fans worldwide, has officially announced a global tour for 2025. Titled the “I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy World Tour,” the highly anticipated series of concerts will take the genre-blending artist across continents as he seeks to connect with his diverse fanbase in an intimate and personal way.

A Global Journey Rooted in Connection

Teddy Swims, whose real name is Jaten Dimsdale, rose to fame through a combination of soulful covers, viral social media performances, and deeply personal original music. His breakout hit, “Lose Control,” became a chart-topping anthem that resonated across generations and cultures, pushing him into the mainstream spotlight. But it’s his raw authenticity and emotional openness that truly set him apart—and that’s exactly what he’s bringing on tour.

In a heartfelt announcement video posted to his social media, Teddy said, “This isn’t just about performing—this is about meeting the people who made all of this possible. Every city, every venue, every fan… I want to share this moment with you face to face.”

Tour Dates and Locations

While the full tour schedule is still unfolding, initial dates have been confirmed in major cities including New York, London, Sydney, Berlin, Tokyo, and Cape Town, with additional stops across North and South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania. The tour kicks off in Atlanta—Teddy’s hometown—in September 2025, before launching into an ambitious global itinerary that spans well into 2026.

Fans can expect performances in both large arenas and more intimate venues, reflecting Teddy’s desire to keep the energy raw and personal regardless of the size of the crowd.

A Celebration of Healing and Humanity

Teddy’s tour title, “I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy,” is more than a catchy phrase—it’s a reflection of the themes that have defined his music. His songs often explore love, loss, addiction, identity, and self-acceptance. Swims has been open about his struggles with mental health and the importance of emotional vulnerability, and this tour aims to continue that conversation on a global stage.

“This tour is about healing,” he shared in an interview. “Music is therapy. For me and for the fans. We’ve all been through something, and now we get to come together, sing through it, and maybe feel a little lighter by the end of the night.”

Collaborations and Surprises

Teddy has hinted at several special guests joining him on stage throughout the tour. Known for his cross-genre collaborations with artists from country, R&B, soul, and pop backgrounds, Swims has already teamed up with names like Thomas Rhett, Meghan Trainor, and X Ambassadors. Fans are speculating that surprise duets and unreleased songs may be part of the live experience.

There’s also talk of a deluxe edition of his debut album, “I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1),” dropping just ahead of the tour, featuring new tracks and acoustic renditions recorded during the tour rehearsals.

Ticket Sales and Fan Access

Presale tickets for the world tour will become available to fan club members starting July 15, 2025, with general sales opening on July 18. VIP packages will offer exclusive meet-and-greets, behind-the-scenes access, and even a chance to attend private acoustic sets.

Teddy Swims has also announced a partnership with mental health organizations in several countries, pledging to donate a portion of the tour’s proceeds to support therapy access and mental health education.

Final Thoughts

In a music industry often dominated by fleeting trends and polished personas, Teddy Swims stands out as an artist who leads with heart. His upcoming world tour promises more than just entertainment—it offers a space for connection, community, and healing through music.

As anticipation builds, one thing is clear: wherever Teddy Swims goes, he brings soul, sincerity, and a voice that can move mountains.

For fans around the globe, the wait is nearly over. Teddy is coming—and he’s bringing the music, the stories, and the love with him.
