Rock legend Robert Plant is hitting the road across the United States this fall with his band Saving Grace, marking his return to American stages with a fresh sound and a new album on the horizon.
The former Led Zeppelin frontman has been collaborating with the eclectic collective since 2019, forming the group during the quiet days of the pandemic lockdown in England. Featuring vocalist Suzi Dian, guitarist Tony Kelsey, drummer Oli Jefferson, banjo and string player Matt Worley, and cellist Barney Morse-Brown, Saving Grace brings together folk, blues, and spiritual influences. After completing a European tour that ends in France and Spain this July, they’ll shift focus to North America starting this fall.
Plant and the band have announced a new album titled Saving Grace, scheduled for release on September 26, 2025. The record captures years of creative work, recorded between April 2019 and January 2025. The tracklist blends traditional folk songs like “As I Roved Out” and “I Never Will Marry” with covers of artists such as Moby Grape, Blind Willie Johnson, and Low. The project is described by Plant as deeply joyful and creatively freeing, showcasing the group’s unique chemistry. “They’ve become unique stylists, and together they’ve landed in a most interesting place,” he said.
The upcoming U.S. tour kicks off October 30 in Wheeling, West Virginia, and will travel through key cities like New York, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, and Toronto, wrapping up November 22 in Los Angeles. Notably, this tour marks Plant’s first full U.S. tour since 2024 when he performed with longtime collaborator Alison Krauss. Their earlier work, including the Grammy-winning Raising Sand, remains one of his most acclaimed post-Zeppelin efforts.
