Jon Bon Jovi isn’t backing down—not on his music, and definitely not on the road ahead. After facing a difficult setback with his health, the iconic frontman is ready to breathe new life into Forever, Bon Jovi’s 2024 album that didn’t quite get the spotlight it deserved.
Released in June 2024, Forever made a promising debut at No. 5 on the charts. But without a tour to support it—due to Bon Jovi’s recovery from vocal cord surgery—the album quickly slipped off the radar. Now, with the worst of his recovery behind him, Jon is determined to give Forever the second chance he believes it deserves.
In a recent interview with Sound on Sound, Jon Bon Jovi shared that a reimagined version of the album is on the way, and this time, it will feature some exciting collaborations. Though he hasn’t named names just yet, he teased that several artist friends will lend their voices to the project, each contributing verses to the refreshed tracks. “It’s an album we’re truly proud of,” he said, calling it their strongest effort since Lost Highway or Have a Nice Day.
Rather than let the album fade quietly, Jon reached out to his circle of fellow musicians. His vision is to give Forever a new pulse—one that carries the energy of collaboration and the resilience of a band that refuses to fade out. “I just wasn’t ready to tour at the time,” he explained. “But I said to my friends, ‘If you’ll sing a verse or two, we can give this record another life.’”
Looking ahead, Bon Jovi fans have reason to be excited. With a revamped album on the horizon and a 2025–2026 summer tour in the works, it’s clear that the band is gearing up to reconnect with audiences in a powerful way. After all, you can’t keep a rock legend down for long—and Jon Bon Jovi is ready to make sure Forever lives up to its name.
