Holly Madison has officially ended her long-running, on-and-off relationship with Ghost Adventures star Zak Bagans. During a recent episode of her Girls Next Level podcast, the former Playboy model shared the news with her cohost Bridget Marquardt, confirming that the couple has now split “for good.”
The 45-year-old reality TV alum revealed the breakup occurred just a day after she experienced the heartbreaking loss of her close friend, Luke “The Dingo” Trembath. “Zak and I broke up for good, for good,” she stated candidly, acknowledging the back-and-forth nature of their nearly six-year relationship. “I know we’ve been very off and on,” she admitted, adding that the past year had seen the couple in a particularly rocky phase.
Marquardt echoed the sentiment, recalling how the relationship had sparked speculation among fans over the years. “We’re just like, ‘Who knows?’” she said of their uncertain status. Madison agreed, saying, “We were very off and on for the past year, very much.” She also pointed out a telling sign that things are truly over this time: “We broke up and I mean unfollowed on social media, which we’ve never done before.”
Madison and Bagans first began dating in June 2019, not long after her divorce from Pasquale Rotella, the founder of Electric Daisy Carnival. The former couple shares two children: Rainbow, born in 2013, and Forest, born in 2016.
In a 2024 interview, Madison opened up about receiving an autism diagnosis at age 42, which helped her better understand her past relationships and personal struggles with connection. At the time, she spoke warmly about Bagans, noting his understanding and acceptance of her neurodivergence. “I’m lucky enough to be dating somebody who just has always kind of understood me,” she had said.
Now, despite the end of their relationship, Madison appears to be entering a new chapter—one marked by self-awareness and clarity. As fans reflect on the couple’s journey, the former Girls Next Door star is moving forward, this time on her own terms.
