Iron Maiden are set to make history once again as they bring their “Run For Your Lives” 50th anniversary tour back to the UK next summer with an enormous outdoor headline concert at the legendary Knebworth Park on July 11, 2026. The performance is shaping up to be one of the most unforgettable events in the band’s career, with a stacked lineup of special guests including The Darkness, The Hu, Airbourne, and The Almighty.
The announcement follows overwhelming demand from fans after Iron Maiden’s sold-out stadium performances earlier this year. Manager Rod Smallwood explained that while it would be difficult to top the band’s epic London Stadium show, Knebworth offers the perfect opportunity to do something different — a place steeped in rock history that has hosted the likes of Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Queen. The park’s expansive grounds will allow Iron Maiden to create a unique fan experience that goes beyond music.
Fans attending can expect much more than just a concert. The band is transforming the venue into “Maiden World”, a full weekend of entertainment centered around the largest-ever version of Eddie’s Dive Bar. There will be Maiden-themed food, exclusive stands, and even a modern spin on Knebworth’s famous Fayre tradition. For those camping overnight, festivities kick off on Friday evening, featuring DJs, live performances, and plenty of Maiden-inspired attractions to set the stage for the massive headline event.
The return to Knebworth also holds sentimental value for Iron Maiden. The band famously headlined Sonisphere Festival there years ago, creating unforgettable memories — including Bruce Dickinson flying a World War I-era triplane in a dramatic dogfight over the park. This time, they’re promising something equally spectacular, crafted for fans who have been part of their five-decade journey.
Tickets for the Knebworth Park show go on sale Saturday, September 27th at 10 a.m. UK time through Iron Maiden’s official site and major ticket outlets. With demand already sky-high, fans are being urged to act quickly to secure their place at what promises to be one of the biggest heavy metal events of 2026.
