Westlife to KOREA!! We’re so excited to bring ‘THE HITS TOUR’ to the Inspire Arena in Incheon on the 6th and 7th of October and Officially Added Three More New Concert Dates Release

September 24, 2025 - by Daniel Terkula - Leave a Comment

Incheon, South Korea – Get ready to relive two decades of chart-topping anthems, unforgettable ballads, and pop nostalgia as Irish pop royalty Westlife officially announce their highly anticipated arrival in South Korea this October! The legendary boy band is set to take the stage at Inspire Arena in Incheon on October 6th and 7th, 2025 — and due to overwhelming demand, they’ve just added three brand-new concert dates to their Korea stop as part of THE HITS TOUR.

This will mark Westlife’s first ever solo headline concert in Korea, and fans across the nation are already buzzing with excitement. From iconic hits like “Swear It Again”, “Flying Without Wings”, and “My Love” to fan favorites such as “World of Our Own” and “You Raise Me Up”, the concerts promise a night of singalongs, harmonies, and heart-stirring memories.

A Long-Awaited Visit for Korean Fans

K-pop may be Korea’s biggest musical export, but the love for Western pop music runs deep — and Westlife has had a loyal Korean fanbase since the early 2000s. Despite their global popularity and countless international tours, Korea remained a long-missed destination on their touring map. That’s about to change in spectacular fashion.

“We’ve been waiting for this moment for a very long time,” said the band in an official statement. “Our Korean fans have supported us from the very beginning, even from thousands of miles away. We are so thrilled to finally meet them in person and perform all the songs they’ve loved for years.”

The Inspire Arena, a newly opened state-of-the-art venue in Incheon, will host the shows. With world-class sound systems and an intimate layout, it’s the perfect setting for a night that promises emotion, excitement, and timeless music.

Ticket Frenzy and New Dates

When tickets for the initial two shows on October 6th and 7th went on sale, they sold out within hours, crashing ticketing websites and creating waves across Korean social media. Hashtags like #WestlifeInKorea and #TheHitsTourIncheon trended nationwide as fans scrambled for seats.

To accommodate the massive demand, three new concert dates have now been added:

  • October 9th (Wednesday)

  • October 11th (Friday)

  • October 12th (Saturday)

This brings the total number of shows in Korea to five, giving fans more chances to witness the pop legends in action. Tickets for the additional shows will go on sale this coming Friday at 10:00 AM KST, and are expected to sell out just as quickly.

A Global Pop Legacy

Formed in 1998, Westlife has sold over 55 million records worldwide and achieved 14 UK number-one singles, making them one of the most successful boy bands of all time. Known for their heartfelt ballads and slick harmonies, the group became a defining sound of late ’90s and early 2000s pop music.

Following their reunion in 2018, Shane Filan, Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, and Mark Feehily have continued to perform globally, reminding fans why their music continues to resonate across generations. THE HITS TOUR is a celebration of their legacy — a journey through their greatest songs that defined a generation.

What to Expect from THE HITS TOUR

Fans attending the Incheon shows can expect a polished and emotional live performance, complete with:

  • A full live band and immersive stage production

  • A setlist packed with Westlife’s greatest hits from across their 25+ year career

  • Personal stories and fan interactions from the band

  • Stunning visuals and nostalgic video interludes

  • A chance to sing, cry, and dance with fellow fans

There’s also word that a few surprise arrangements and unreleased versions of fan favorites may be included in the Korea leg of the tour — so even longtime fans will have something new to experience.

International Fans Are Coming Too

The Korean stop of the tour is drawing international attention, with fans from Japan, China, Thailand, and beyond planning trips to Incheon to catch the group live. Local tourism officials are preparing for a significant influx of visitors, and the concerts are expected to contribute a welcome boost to the region’s entertainment and hospitality sectors.

Final Words from Westlife

In a heartfelt message to fans, the band shared:

“This is more than just a concert — it’s a thank you to everyone who’s kept our music alive for all these years. Korea, we’re ready. Let’s make these nights unforgettable.”
