Madonna Brings Her Celebration Tour to London as She Marks 45 Years of Iconic Hits

July 7, 2025 - by Jande David - Leave a Comment

After much speculation, Madonna has officially announced her long-awaited Celebration Tour, a global musical journey that honors her legendary four-decade career. Teaming up with event organizers Live Nation, the Queen of Pop will hit the stage with a setlist packed with fan favorites from every era of her groundbreaking career. The tour kicks off this summer and will travel across North America and Europe, bringing Madonna’s signature style and energy to audiences around the world.

The tour is a celebration of Madonna’s biggest hits, starting from her breakout single Holiday released in 1984, to more recent viral successes like Back That Up To The Beat, which found a second life on TikTok. This show promises to be a nostalgic and exhilarating experience, giving long-time fans a chance to relive the songs that have defined generations. For UK fans, the excitement peaks with two shows scheduled at London’s iconic O2 Arena on Saturday, October 14, and Sunday, October 15.

Adding a unique flair to the tour is the inclusion of Bob The Drag Queen (Caldwell Tidicue), who will appear as the special guest across all performances. Known for dazzling performances and charismatic stage presence, Bob’s addition adds a vibrant and theatrical twist to what is already shaping up to be one of the year’s most anticipated live events. Madonna herself expressed her enthusiasm, saying she’s thrilled to explore a wide variety of songs and deliver the kind of performance her fans have been waiting for.

The Celebration Tour kicks off in Vancouver, BC on July 15, making stops in major cities like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, and Toronto before heading across the Atlantic. The European leg includes performances in cultural capitals like Paris, Barcelona, Milan, Stockholm, Berlin, and Amsterdam, giving international fans ample opportunity to catch the pop icon live.

For fans planning to attend, it’s worth noting that tickets for the tour went on sale starting Friday, July 20, 2025, at 10:00 AM GMT. With Madonna’s decades-spanning appeal and the scale of this tour, demand is expected to be high. Whether you grew up dancing to Like a Prayer, found empowerment in Express Yourself, or discovered her through newer tracks on social media, the Celebration Tour is shaping up to be an unforgettable homage to Madonna’s enduring impact on music and pop culture.
